Unwavering Freedom

Inspired on a stormy morning at my Mom’s home while the flag was whipping around in tormented composure, I watched both the approaching storm and flag. She has flown a flag with a spotlight on it since I can remember. I decided the times we are living in told a compelling story with this composition. To honor my Mom, I asked her to name it.

The name of this piece selected by my 84-year-old Mom is Unwavering Freedom. She solicited help from her great-nephew, Rob, a Sergeant in the Aurora, IL Police Department, AND a Sergeant in his Army National Guard Aviation Regiment to narrow down the choices.
